9 children killed in paramilitary attack in Sudan

Khartoum (Team Newsbuddy): Fighting between paramilitary forces and the army has intensified in Sudan. At least nine children were killed and 11 others injured in an airstrike by the paramilitary Rapid Support Force (RSF) in El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state in western Sudan.

The Resistance Committee, a non-governmental group in El Fasher, said in a statement on Monday that an RSF drone attacked the Al-Hijra Mosque in Al-Tijaniyya, Al-Fasher, with projectiles, killing nine children and injuring 11 others.

According to the report, the Sudan Tribune news portal reported that the place targeted was a kitchen providing food to the displaced. The RSF has not yet responded to this.
