Fate finally pulled the trigger…

Only 2.7% of the world’s water is drinkable

Cape Town (Team Newsbuddy): Cape Town, the capital city of South Africa, has been declared the world’s first waterless city, because its government has shown its inability to supply water after April 14, 2024.

Bathing has been banned there while preparations are underway to cut off connections of 10 lakh people,
Just like in India, petrol is bought by going to a petrol pump, similarly there will be water tankers at various places in Cape Town, where 25 liters of water will be available, police and army personnel have been deployed to deal with those who ask for more water or loot water,

In the end, this time of the world’s sad journey will come to anyone, so use water sparingly.
Stop wasting water. We have also seen water being sent to Latur (Maharashtra) by train. As the water level in all the nearby dams has decreased, the ground water table has gone deeper.
As a responsible citizen we will save water by preventing wastage of water.
