Bajaj Freedom CNG bike launched in seven colour options

1 min read

Prices start from Rs. 95.000 (ex-showroom)

Mumbai (Team Newsbuddy): Bajaj Auto has launched the world’s first CNG motorcycle, the Freedom. While it boasts a lot of interesting traits, the seven colour options it is available in are worth taking a look at.
The Pewter Grey and Ebony Black trims are visually understated with a majority of their body panels and cycle parts finished in black topped by subtle dashes of white. The rest of the colour variants including Racing Red, Cyber White, and Caribbean Blue look more vibrant. What’s interesting is the overall styling of the motorcycle which looks like a nice combination of a commuter, a scrambler, and a motocross bike.

Looking at the technical specifications, the Freedom is powered by a horizontally-placed, 125cc, air-cooled engine that produces 9.3bhp and 9.7Nm and comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. The CNG tank, which sits under the seat, has a capacity of 2kg while the auxiliary petrol tank can hold 2 litres of petrol. The combined range is claimed to be over 330km. It is underpinned by a trellis frame and rides on an unconventional 17-16-inch alloy wheel combination. Damping duties are handled by telescopic forks and a monoshock while a disc-drum combo delivers stopping power. It can also be had with a drum brake at both ends
