Prestige to set up a Center of Excellence for Quantum Computing

`Indore(Team Newsbuddy): Prestige Education Foundation, in partnership with AIC-Prestige Inspire Foundation, recently hosted an international roundtable conference on quantum computing titled “Opportunities & Technologies Beyond Visibility.” The event drew global dignitaries, experts from the USA, Israel, Germany, and Italy, and key representatives from India’s central and state governments. During the conference, three major Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) were signed with key global companies to establish a Center of Excellence for Quantum Computing. This center will specialize in training, skills development, and education, as well as conducting cutting-edge technology projects. Dr. Davish Jain, Chairman of the Prestige Education Foundation and Chancellor of the Prestige University, stated, “Quantum computing is poised to transform the world, and at Prestige, we acknowledge both the opportunity and the challenge. We are establishing a Center of Excellence for Quantum Computing and other advanced technologies in collaboration with top international companies. This initiative will drive skill development and research, benefiting students and society.”

Andre Kinog, CEO of GQI USA, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “We are pleased to partner with Prestige and are committed to bringing the benefits of quantum computing to India.” Dr. Sanjeev Patni, CEO of AIC-Prestige Inspire Foundation, highlighted the event’s significance, saying, “This conference is the first international conference in India on quantum computing. We at Prestige are keen to bring valuable knowledge to India and Indore.” The “BEYOND VISIBILITY” conference provided a unique platform for attendees to gain a comprehensive understanding of quantum computing and its transformative potential. It was attended by scientists, researchers from the USA, Israel, and Italy, high-ranking officials, policymakers from India’s central and state governments, including C-DAC, NITI Aayog, and MPSEDC, renowned industry leaders, and technology experts.
