Important decisions taken in Chhattisgarh Cabinet meeting, decisions were approved

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): It was decided in the meeting of the Council of Ministers that the Revenue and Disaster Management Department and the Forest and Climate Change Department approved the process format for the transfer of forest land occupied in the name of heirs in the name of heirs on the death of individual forest rights holders under the Forest Rights Act and for registering it in revenue or forest records. With this, in future, the Aadhaar number of the plot will also be taken due to geo-referencing of the map. It will be used in transfer, demarcation, partition etc.

In the meeting of the Council of Ministers for quality education system in the state, it was decided to fully implement the National Education Policy-2020 issued by the Ministry of Education, Government of India in the state of Chhattisgarh. Under the new education policy, provision has been made to provide education to children in local language till class 5th. Along with this, it has been recommended to provide education to everyone from pre-primary to 12th. Under this new education policy, along with providing equitable and inclusive education, 5+3+3+4 has been implemented in place of the prevailing educational structure 10+2.

It was decided in the meeting of the Council of Ministers that under the Chhattisgarh Armed Assistant Platoon Commander (Nursing), Head Constable (Nursing), Male Nurse, Female Nurse, Lab Technician, Pharmacist, Nursing Assistant, Compounder, Dresser, Constable (Band), Constable (Dog Squad) Recruitment Process Year-2023, the local residents of Chhattisgarh State will be given a relaxation of 5 years in the prescribed maximum age limit. This relaxation will be given to the unreserved category for one time in addition to the prescribed maximum age limit of 5 years and the reserved category will be given a further relaxation of 05 years in the prescribed age limit, for one time, in addition to the already given age relaxation of 5 years.
A separate department “Good Governance and Convergence Department” has been formed in the state for the successful implementation of the public welfare policies of the state government, good governance and solution of public problems. In which the draft of amendment in the Chhattisgarh Government Work (Allocation) Rules was approved by the Council of Ministers regarding the inclusion of e-review, e-public service guarantee and digital secretariat. Earlier these branches were in the General Administration Department. The date of registration has been increased by three years to provide housing to the homeless, economically weaker and lower class families in Nava Raipur.

Under the Chief Minister Housing Scheme run by the state government, houses are being constructed in Nava Raipur. In which the date of registration of houses has been extended from 31 March 2024 to 31 March 2027, keeping the guidelines issued earlier to provide housing to the beneficiaries at the minimum price. This decision will increase the possibilities of registration of vacant houses. Nava Raipur Atal Nagar Development Authority has been authorized for the process of preparing detailed project report for the establishment of Chhattisgarh State Capital Region and the related authority on the lines of National Capital Region and for this the Housing and Environment Department has been made the administrative department.
The draft amendment to the Government Store Purchase Rules 2002 (as amended in 2022) was approved. All the departments of the State Government etc. will purchase materials, goods and services as per the requirement, whose rates and specifications are available on the Gem website of DGS&D of Government of India, from the Gem website following the prescribed procedure. In case of additional requirement, the consent of the Finance Department will be required for the purchase of materials, goods and services. It was also decided to cancel all the rate contracts of CSIDC currently in force at the end of this month. This step has been taken with a view to prevent corruption.

In the meeting of the Council of Ministers, it was decided to obtain consent from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, to provide pay scale equivalent to the level of Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in place from 1 January 2024 to 06 officers posted on the post of Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in the Indian Forest Service of Chhattisgarh State Cadre from the year 1992 to 1994 on non-functional basis. It was decided to provide relaxation of 1 year only once in the minimum period of 5 years prescribed for promotion from Superintending Engineer (Civil) to Chief Engineer (Civil).
It was decided to approve housing under Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana Gramin to 47 thousand 90 needy surveyed homeless families of Chhattisgarh state. It is worth noting that under the Chhattisgarh State Socio-Economic Survey, a total survey of 59.79 lakh families was completed in the state from 01 April to 30 April 2023, in which 47 thousand 90 families were found who are homeless, but their name is not in the permanent waiting list of Socio-Economic and Caste Census. It was decided to approve housing to such homeless families from Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana Gramin.
