Minister OP Choudhary inaugurates consultative programme organized by CG NITI Aayog for Preparing Vision Document

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Finance Minister OP Choudhary, on behalf of Chhattisgarh NITI Aayog, inaugurated the consultative programme organized today at local Circuit House for compilation of the “Chhattisgarh Vision Document 2047”. At the onset, Finance Minister Choudhary commenced the programme by offering flowers to the portrait of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and lighting a ceremonial lamp.
Youth, farmers, women, and intellectuals from different parts of the state are participating in this consultative programme to share their aspirations and visions for a ‘Developed India’ and a ‘Developed Chhattisgarh’. The concluding session of the programme will be held at 3 PM, where Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will engage in dialogue with the youth, farmers, women, and intellectuals.
Welcoming the attendees, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary stated that all participants are esteemed individuals in their respective fields. He emphasized that their ideas could significantly contribute to the progress of the nation as well as of the state. Minister Choudhary extensively discussed the topics such as export-oriented industries, green energy, solar energy, ethanol-based technology, and production-linked incentives.
The programme was also addressed by Chief Secretary and Vice Chairman of the State Policy Commission Amitabh Jain, Member Secretary Anup Srivastava, and Member K. Subramanyam.
It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a goal for India to become a developed nation by 2047. To ensure the state plays an effective role in realizing this vision, Chhattisgarh NITI Aayog will release the Vision Document titled ‘Amrit Kaal: Chhattisgarh Vision @ 2047’ on the upcoming State Foundation Day, 1 November 2024. Finance Minister OP Choudhary will present the Vision Document to the public.
Chhattisgarh NITI Aayog has initiated consultations with all departments and sector experts to prepare the Vision Document related to ‘Amrit Kaal: Chhattisgarh Vision @ 2047’. Eight working groups have been formed for this purpose, and continuous meetings are being held for deliberations. The Commission has also launched a web portal, “Mor Sapna-Mor Viksit Chhattisgarh,” available at http://sdgspc.cg.gov.in/viksitcg/#home, inviting public representatives and citizens to share their visions for a developed Chhattisgarh.
The event was attended by Secretary of the Planning Department Ankit Anand, Joint Director Dr. Neetu Gourdia, departmental officials, and a large number of youth, farmers, women, and intellectuals from across the state.
