Bodies of six people recovered from hotel in Bangkok

Bangkok (Team Newsbuddy): At least six people of Vietnamese origin have been found dead in a room of a luxurious hotel in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.

According to the government, some of these dead were Vietnamese-Americans. Initially, it was being said in local media reports that there was a shootout at the five-star Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, but the police dismissed these reports and said that no evidence of firing has been found.

However, now the police say that these people may have been poisoned. But the matter of poisoning has not been confirmed yet.

Thailand’s Prime Minister, Shretha Thavisin also visited the spot and has ordered an investigation into the deaths.

The Prime Minister said that he does not want the country’s image to be affected by this incident and their tourism to be affected.

He said police suspect that the deceased had been dead for 24 hours. A postmortem examination will be conducted to find out if they had eaten anything.
