Indian man dies in firing incident in Oman
1 min readMuscat (Team Newsbuddy): An Indian man has also died in a firing incident in Muscat city, the capital of Oman. Apart from this, an Indian man is also among those injured in this incident.
The Indian Embassy in Oman said in a post from its official X handle, “Following the firing incident in Muscat city on 15 July, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman has informed that one Indian citizen has died and another has been injured. The Embassy expresses its heartfelt condolences and is ready to provide all possible assistance to the families.”
Pakistani citizens have also died
Four Pakistani citizens have died in a firing incident near a Shia mosque in Muscat, the capital of Oman.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan has condemned the attack near the Imam Ali Mosque, calling it a “cowardly terrorist” attack.
According to the Foreign Ministry, 30 Pakistani citizens were also injured in this incident. The Foreign Ministry also said that the attackers have been killed.
This crowd of devotees had gathered in the mosque on the evening before Ashura, the holy day of Shias.
