MP players shine in Sub Junior National Kurash competition
1 min readIndore(Team Newsbuddy): With 3 gold, 5 silver and 7 bronze medals, Madhya Pradesh secured first position in Girls’ Group 1 and third position in Boys’ Group 2. Around 650 players from 22 states participated in the competition.
Madhya Pradesh Kurash Association secretary Rahul Vyas said that in the sub-junior Kurash competition held in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the players of the state performed brilliantly and secured first place in Group 1 girls category and third place in Group 2 boys category. Shivanya Chaurasia of Ashoknagar received the Best Upcoming Player award and a cash prize of ₹3100.
The names of the winning players are as follows:-
Gold Medal :- Mrinalini Bohra, Anahita Mishra, Samridhi Tiwari,
Silver Medal:- Shivanya Chourasiya, Rit Panchal, Disharth Durante, Manvi Kumawat, Ayansh Borikar
Bronze Medal::- Dhruv Lodhi, Nitya Kabra, Aarna Tiwari, Vani Raj Jain, Wahid Khan, Aayush Sagittala, Mansi Tiwari.
The players won a total of 15 medals in the competition.
Ramesh Mendola, Vivek Swami, Kailash Batham, Gopal Paliwal, Lalit Paneri, Vikram Dangi, Vaishali Tiwari, Brijesh Dhurante, Varsha Sonane extended their heartiest wishes and congratulations to all the winning players and their coaches.
