Indore maintains dominance in Under-23 state wrestling selection trials

Indore (Team Newsbuddy): In the state level wrestling selection trials, Indore’s wrestlers performed brilliantly and won 11 gold medals. Sarwan Kaushal, Lalit Kaushal, Yashpal, Raj Sachan, Kunal Silawat, Piyush Yadav, Aurangzeb, Yuvraj Pal, Darshan Dangi, Hansaben Rathore, Chanchal Bourasi won gold medals. Khandwa remained in second place with 6 gold medals while Madhya Pradesh Government’s Wrestling Academy Bhopal remained in third place with 4 gold medals. In other districts, Ujjain managed to win 2 gold medals, 1 gold medal in Sehore, 1 gold medal in Jabalpur, 1 gold medal in Gwalior, 1 gold medal in Dewas. Olympian Pappu Yadav, Vikram Awardee Omprakash Khatri, Vikas Yadav, Dharmendra Yadav, Hemant Pandey honored the players by giving them prizes. The judges of the competition, International coach Arvind Patel Railway, Vinay Kumar, Sachin Yadav, Kapil Yegde, Yash Yadav, Manish Namdev, Neelima Bourasi made a transparent decision. The winning wrestlers will participate in the Under-23 National Wrestling Competition to be held in Rohtak.
