From Naxalism to becoming sports hub: Sai’s important role in Bastar’s development

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): The Bastar region of Chhattisgarh, once famous for its mythological importance and Naxalism, is now moving towards development. The credit for this change goes to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, who has taken important steps to bring Bastar on the path of peace and prosperity.

Bastar, where Lord Rama, Sita and Lakshman spent 13 years in the Ramayana era, is now witnessing another historic change. The region, which once struggled with Naxalism, is now making its mark in the field of sports, especially football. The All India Football Federation (AIFF) built a new football pitch in Narayanpur district, which recently successfully hosted two national championships.

Chief Minister Sai made this project his priority, as he believes that sports can not only lead to development of the region, but also social reform. Under his leadership, the AIFF and the Chhattisgarh Football Association decided to hold the Under-20 national and international football championships in Bastar. Its aim is to make Bastar a hub of sports and establish its positive image at the national and international level.

AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey also praised this initiative and said that this change in Bastar will become an example for the country on how society and economy can be improved through football.

With the vision and hard work of Chief Minister Sai, a new chapter of sports is now being written in Bastar instead of Naxalism. This initiative is an important step towards the development of Bastar and shows that with the right leadership, positive change can be brought in any field. Bastar is now moving rapidly towards becoming the pride of Chhattisgarh.
