Raipur(Team Newsbuddy): An important meeting of the State Congress Executive was held at Rajiv Bhawan under the chairmanship of State Congress President Deepak Baij. In the meeting, there was a wide discussion on the preparation and strategy for the Raipur South Assembly by-election and the preparation and strategy for the upcoming urban body elections and on the poor law and order in the state and on speeding up organizational programs.
In the meeting, some officials suggested that a padyatra should be taken out regarding the arrest of innocents in the Balodabazar case and the deteriorating law and order situation, to which the State President also asked to take a quick decision and declare the route and date of the yatra.
Addressing the meeting, State Congress President Deepak Baij said that with the activism and hard work of the officials, we are running a movement against the anti-people policies of the government. We have put the government in the dock regarding the poor state of law and order. The Chief Minister is forced to call a conference of SP, Collector. Instructions have to be given to improve law and order. We will not sit quiet until even a single citizen of the state is unsafe.
The officials proposed a vote of thanks to state president Deepak Baij for continuously making the organization active.
