Prestige Institute hosts ‘Abhiyantriki Deeksharambh 2024’ to welcome new students

Indore(Team Newsbuddy): The Abhiyantriki Deeksharambh 2024, a grand invocation ceremony for the newly admitted students of Prestige Institute of Engineering Management and Research (PIEMR), Indore, was held at the Brilliant Convention Centre, marked by the presence of esteemed technocrats, academicians, and motivational leaders. The event provided an inspirational launchpad for the future engineers as distinguished speakers delivered powerful messages on success, innovation, and professional growth.
Renowned motivational speaker Jaiprakash Kabra emphasized the power of self-confidence, urging students to believe in their abilities. “Confidence is your greatest asset,” he stated, highlighting that while good grades can open doors, long-term success is driven by how well one applies their knowledge in real-world situations. He also encouraged students to never underestimate their potential and to embrace hard work, noting that sincere efforts rarely result in failure.
Dr. Davish Jain, Chairman of Prestige Education Foundation and Chancellor of Prestige University, motivated students to immerse themselves in research and innovation during their studies. He also stressed the importance of entrepreneurial thinking, urging students to develop skills that would enable them to become job creators rather than job seekers.
Dr. Krishna Vedula, Executive Director of IUCEE, shared insights on modern teaching and learning practices, advising faculty to actively engage with students beyond traditional slides and rote learning. Dr. Arka Das, Senior Operations Research Engineer, encouraged students to continually upgrade their skills to stay competitive in the evolving landscape of engineering.
Sumesh Banzal, Project Director at NHAI Indore, underscored the vital role engineers play in shaping infrastructure projects across the region, emphasizing the responsibility of engineers in driving societal progress.
Dr. Manojkumar Deshpande, Senior Director of PIEMR, encouraged students to pursue their dreams with dedication, adopt a hands-on approach to learning, and nurture their passion for innovation. Dr. Rajeev Raghuvanshi, Admission Director at PIEMR, added that while professional success is important, it must be accompanied by strong moral values.
In a special moment, all newly admitted students were presented with ‘Deeksharambh’ badges, symbolizing their entry into the engineering world. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Hemant Sharma
