New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy): The Supreme Court has banned bulldozer action across the country. The court has directed the states that no property will be demolished anywhere in India without the permission of the court till the next hearing date on October 1. However, the court has made it clear that this order will not apply to any unauthorized construction on public roads, footpaths etc. The Supreme Court said that if there is even a single case of illegal demolition, it is against the basic spirit of our Constitution.

In the case, the bench of Justice BR Gavai and KV Vishwanathan clarified that this order will not apply to the constructions encroached on public roads, footpaths and others. Let us tell you that the apex court was hearing petitions alleging demolition of properties of crime accused in many states.

At the same time, during this hearing, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the bench that a story is being fabricated regarding the demolition of properties. On this, the bench told the senior law officer, rest assured that the outside noise is not affecting us. With this, the bench fixed the next hearing of the case for October 1.
