Cleanliness fortnight starts on Prime Minister Modi’s birthday in Lolesara

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday is being celebrated as Swachhta Pakhwada across the country. From Prime Minister Modi’s birthday on 17 September to Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October, a massive campaign was launched to completely clean urban and rural public places, school premises, around religious places, Anganwadis and government offices across the country. Prime Minister Modi has given the message to include cleanliness in the daily habits of life.

In this connection, Collector Ranveer Sharma, Police Captain Ramkrishna Sahu, District Panchayat Member Pragya Nirvani, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Tekchand Agarwal, All India Chhattisgarhi Mahasabha Convener Dr. Saurabh Nirvani, District CEO, Block Education Officer, Teacher Sunil were present at Punya Mela village Lolesara. Jha, Lolesara School’s Headmaster Banchhor along with hundreds of school students, Anganwadi workers, Safai Didi cleaned the school premises. The students were very excited to find the Collector and SP among them. They took selfies with Collector Ranveer Sharma and Collector Sharma also encouraged the children a lot. In her speech, District Panchayat member Pragya Nirvani administered the oath of cleanliness to the students and women Panchayat representatives present. In her speech, she said that household cleaning is a part of the habits of us women, now the cleanliness of the public places around us also has to be taken care of with collective responsibility like our own home. We have to become a part of Prime Minister Modi’s Swachhata Sankalp. Dr. Saurabh Nirvani said that since the school days, the students should adopt the feeling that the nation is my first home.
