Raipur South Assembly by-election: Congress forms election management committee

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Preparations for the by-election on Raipur South Assembly seat have started. This seat was lying vacant after the resignation of MLA Brijmohan Agarwal, and now by-election is going to be held on it. Regarding this, the Congress party has formed an election management committee.

This committee, formed on the instructions of Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee President Deepak Baij, includes 9 prominent leaders including six former ministers. Experienced leaders like Satyanarayan Sharma, Dhanendra Sahu, Ravindra Choubey, Mohan Markam, Shiv Kumar Dahria, and Jai Singh Agarwal have been given responsibility in the committee. Along with this, former MLA Kuldeep Juneja, Ruchir Garg, and Raipur Rural District President Udhoram Verma have also been included in this committee.

It is worth noting that Brijmohan Agarwal was elected MLA from Raipur South seat, but after being elected MP from Raipur, he resigned from the post of MLA. Now a by-election will be held on this seat, for which the Congress has started its preparations
