CAF soldier fire bullets on colleagues, kills 2 soldiers, two in critical condition
1 min readRaipur (Team Newsbuddy): Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) soldiers opened indiscriminate firing at the camp located at Bhutahi in Samari police station area of Balrampur district. Two soldiers died in the incident. Three soldiers have been shot. All of them are being brought to the Community Health Center in Kusmi for treatment. The reason for the firing could not be ascertained.
Superintendent of Police Rajesh Agarwal himself has left for the spot. The incident is said to have happened on Wednesday morning. Due to this sudden incident, the soldiers did not even get a chance to recover. Bhutahi is located in the border area of Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand. The camp was set up in Bhutahi only last year on the road from Samari to Chunchuna-Pundag via Sabag.
This area was formerly under the influence of Naxalites. Road construction is going on from Sabag to Chunchuna-Pundag. The first camp on this route was started in Bandarchua. Then as the road construction work progressed, a camp was also opened in Bhutahi. A company of Chhattisgarh Armed Force is deployed here. CRPF and District Police Force personnel have also been deployed.
