Sachin Pilot thanks people of Chhattisgarh to support bandh

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy) : All India Congress Committee General Secretary and Chhattisgarh in-charge Sachin Pilot has expressed gratitude to the people of the state, small and big businessmen, industrialists for supporting the bandh called by the Congress. He said that after the heart-wrenching incident of Kawardha and in protest against the deteriorating law and order of the state, the Congress had called this bandh. The public has expressed their anger against the failure of the BJP government of the state by stopping their work for a day.

All India Congress General Secretary and Congress Chhattisgarh in-charge Sachin Pilot said that the Congress had called for a Chhattisgarh bandh demanding a judicial inquiry into the deteriorating law and order and the brutality of the police in Kawardha and the murder of Prashant Sahu.

Ever since the BJP government has been formed in the state, every citizen of Chhattisgarh is unsafe, now criminal incidents have become unbearable. Traders, women, students, common man are all troubled by the deteriorating law and order. There is an atmosphere of fear in the state due to the daily incidents of murder, rape, loot, robbery, stabbing. A man is burnt alive in his house in front of the police, the police remains a silent spectator. A villager dies in police custody, there are injury marks on his entire body, more than three people are still missing in Loharidih of Kawardha. Collector and SP offices are being burnt in the state, a woman is gang-raped in the capital’s bus stand, a 4-year-old girl is molested in a school in Bhilai, FIR is being filed after pressure from the opposition, a businessman is robbed of Rs 5 crore in Balrampur, the police is unable to find the robbers. International gangsters open fire in the capital, the police and the government are proving to be unsuccessful.

When the government did not wake up even after taking all democratic steps of protest, the Congress had to call a bandh. On the call of the Congress party, the general public, businessmen, industrialists have supported the Congress party’s protest against the deteriorating law and order situation by closing their work for a day.
