2 min read

Indore (Team Newsbuddy) : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has strongly condemned Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, over his recent remarks regarding the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Mandir, stating that Gandhi’s comments were an insult to millions of Hindus and demanding that he issue a public apology.

Speaking to reporters in Indore on Saturday, CM Yadav expressed his outrage over the issue, saying, “Rahul Gandhi has no right to insult the faith of crores of Hindus. His remarks on the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Mandir, which took place after years of struggle and devotion, were deeply disrespectful. Engaging in election campaigning is one thing, but to mock such a sacred event is a petty act that cannot be ignored. I strongly condemn his behavior and demand that he apologize to the people.”

CM Yadav called upon Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to address the issue, stating, “I urge the Congress President to ensure that their former party leader refrains from making such inflammatory statements. It is precisely this kind of behavior that has led to Rahul Gandhi’s repeated failures to secure power. The entire nation, particularly the Hindu community, is hurt by his comments, and it’s time he takes responsibility.”

Rahul Gandhi made his controversial remarks about the Ram Mandir ceremony while addressing a public gathering in Barwala, Hisar, Haryana, as part of the Congress party’s election campaign.

In a separate engagement on Saturday, Chief Minister Yadav attended a seminar titled ‘Colloquium on Intellectual Property Rights’ in Indore, where he discussed the importance of safeguarding and promoting intellectual property rights, along with innovations in the sector.

Addressing the seminar, CM Yadav expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for introducing the country’s first Intellectual Property policy in 2016. He said, “I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to PM Modi for establishing a comprehensive intellectual property policy, which has been a guiding light for us. During the challenging COVID-19 period, we witnessed the adoption of modern technologies, and I also commend our judicial system for continuing their work of delivering justice even in those difficult times. This policy has empowered innovators and ensured the effective protection of their intellectual creations.”

The CM’s remarks underscore the ongoing political and cultural tensions while also highlighting the government’s efforts to bolster intellectual property rights and innovation in Madhya Pradesh.
