Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that there are many unresolved questions regarding the incident in Loharidih. He sought answers to these questions from the government:

Suspicious death of Kachru Sahu: Police say that Shivprasad alias Kachru Sahu committed suicide, while the villagers consider it a case of murder. The last rites were performed in a hurry without calling the family members. Baghel asked why the government is not taking any action in this matter?

Irregularities in arrests: 69 people were arrested after villagers burnt down a house on September 15, 2024, many of whom were not even present in the village at that time. Baghel asked on what basis were these people arrested without investigation?

List of arrested people: The number of people arrested was 69, while the case was registered against 169 people. Baghel asked why the full list and sections of the case have not been made public yet?
