National Air Force Day celebrated at NIT Raipur

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): National Air Force Day was celebrated by the Aviation Club of NIT Raipur. During this, CH Kulkarni, former Air Force officer was present as the keynote speaker. This program was organized under the guidance of Dr. NV Swami Naidu, Faculty in Charge of Aviation Club. The main objective of this program was to give information about the Indian Air Force to the participants, encourage them to make a career in this field and provide modern information related to this field.

During the keynote session, CH Kulkarni motivated everyone to join the Air Force and said that he is happy to have an Aviation Club in the institute. He said that at present many modern and technological changes are being seen in the aviation world. He provided many information related to recruitment in the security forces and said that you should not think of becoming only a pilot, you can also contribute to the service of the country by becoming a ground officer, navigation officer, law officer etc. He said that to get recruited in the army, you can take part in exams like NDA or CDS and for this, you must have some basic qualities like bravery, honesty, good character, etc.

Apart from this, a quiz competition and model making competition were also organized by the club. In the quiz competition, everyone was asked questions related to the history of the Indian Air Force, their famous missions, etc., and in model making, models of various fighter planes were made by the participants. In the quiz competition, Avinash Kumar stood first, Aryan Rathore second and Priyanshu Maurya third. Whereas, in the model making competition, Team Patriotic stood first, Pankaj and Team second and Team Circuit Breaker third.
