A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Khamtarai police station area of ​​the capital Raipur. Here, due to doubt about her character, the husband killed his wife by slitting her throat with a knife. After this he himself reached the police station and surrendered. The incident took place on Thursday night between 9 and 9.30 pm. The police have taken the body into custody. According to the police, Radheshyam Verma, a crane operator by profession and resident of Bhanpuri, Rameshwar Nagar, murdered his 29-year-old wife Kajal Verma.

Radheshyam told the police that whenever he came home, his wife kept talking to someone or the other on the phone. There used to be disputes every day regarding this matter. Even on the night of the incident, when he returned from work, Kajal was talking to someone on the phone. When he asked, he refused to tell. When he asked for the phone, it was not given to him either. On this, there was a fierce dispute between the two and he killed her by slitting her throat with a knife kept in the house.

According to the police, Kajal was Radheshyam’s second wife. He lived separately from his first wife. Both of them got married three years ago. This was also Kajal’s second marriage. He has a daughter from his first marriage, who is now six years old. She was present there at the time of the incident. The deceased was a contract laborer in the Municipal Corporation.
