IndiGo stops Jagdalpur-Raipur flight

Raipur(Team Newsbuddy) : The flight facility running on the Jagdalpur-Raipur route in Chhattisgarh is being closed from tomorrow (28 October). It is being told that the airline was incurring losses due to lack of passengers. In view of this, Indigo management has taken this decision. However, the company will continue services for Hyderabad, Jabalpur, Bilaspur and Delhi.

It may be mentioned that flight to Raipur used to fly 4 days a week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. The flight used to run from Hyderabad-Jagdalpur and Jagdalpur-Raipur, then Raipur-Jagdalpur and Jagdalpur-Hyderabad. Indigo was getting only 60 percent passengers for Raipur. In such a situation, Indigo was incurring losses on this route.

On Friday, 25 October, Indigo took its last flight from Jagdalpur to Raipur. 68 passengers from Hyderabad reached Jagdalpur by this flight and from here 74 passengers left for Raipur. At the same time, 66 passengers came to Jagdalpur from Raipur and from here 62 passengers left for Hyderabad
