Railways bows down to faith

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Finally the railway administration had to bow down to faith. Durg-Chhapra Sarnath Express will run regularly again from Tuesday 17 December. The Railways had to announce the operation of this train keeping in mind the Kumbh Mela going to be held in Prayagraj.

Recently, the Railways had canceled the Durg-Chhapra Sarnath Express on different days from December 2 to February 27, citing the severe cold and fog in North India.

Apart from various organizations, passengers had protested against this decision of the Railways and demanded regular service of this train. Due to pressure from all sides, the railway administration had to withdraw this decision.

Kumbh Mela will be held from January 13 to February 26
Kumbh Mela is going to be held in Prayagraj from January 13 to February 26. In such a situation, the Railway Board had cancelled Sarnath going from Chhattisgarh to Prayagraj along with 77 trains of all the railways on different days for 76 days (for three months) due to fog.

Now the running of Sarnath again will provide relief to the passengers. Organizations and leaders have expressed gratitude to this decision of the Railways. Also, in future also, there is a demand not to cancel Sarnath Express due to fog.

Three Kumbh special trains will run from Durg, Bilaspur and Rajgarh

Apart from this, during the Maha Kumbh, three Kumbh special trains will also run from the three main stations of South-East Central Railway, Durg, Bilaspur and Raigarh. During the Maha Kumbh, there will be more movement of people going to and coming from Prayagraj. In such a situation, those taking a holy dip will get maximum
confirmed berths.
