Colonel Jai Ram Singh takes command of CG&Odisha Sub Area
1 min readRaipur (Team Newsbuddy): In a solemn ceremony held at the Naya Raipur Military Station , Brigadier Aman Anand, Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM), officially relinquished his command of the Chhattisgarh and Odisha Sub Area. He handed over the reins to Colonel Jai Ram Singh, who assumed command in an officiating capacity.
Brigadier Anand, commissioned into the Kumaon Regiment in 1995, has had a distinguished military career spanning 29 years. Over the years, he has held several prestigious and challenging assignments in command, staff, and instructional roles. His leadership has been proven in some of the most demanding environments, including the Kashmir Valley, the Indo-China border, the Siachen Glacier, and during peacekeeping operations in South Sudan.
Brigadier Anand is set to join the prestigious National Defence College (NDC) in New Delhi.
