Rape of engineering student in Anna University

Tamil Nadu (Team Newsbuddy) : A shameful case has come to light in the capital Chennai. A case of rape of a 19-year-old engineering student has come to light in Anna University, the prestigious educational institution of the country. A man selling biryani outside the college, along with his friend, entered the university campus and did a disgusting thing with the student. The victim is a second year engineering student. Actor-turned-politician Vijay has demanded action in this matter.

When and how did the incident happen in the university campus
The incident was carried out early Wednesday morning. The engineering student was sitting in the university campus with a friend. During this, a man selling biryani outside the university campus reached there with one of his friends. The accused beat up the student’s boyfriend. After this, the student was dragged into the university campus itself and taken behind the bushes and raped. The engineering student’s friend is also a student of the university.

BJP said- the accused is a DMK worker. Opposition parties have targeted the government after this incident. Leaders say that crimes against women have increased during the tenure of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK)-led government. However, the government has denied these allegations. BJP’s Tamil Nadu state president K Annamalai said that this case is very shocking. The person who carried out the incident with the student in the university campus is a habitual criminal and a DMK worker. Annamalai asked whether CM Stalin would take responsibility for this incident.
