Congress happy with civic elections through ballot paper in Chhattisgarh: TS Singhdev

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): Body and panchayat elections are to be held in Chhattisgarh with the beginning of the new year. The political temperature of Chhattisgarh is high regarding the civic elections. BJP, Congress and other political parties are busy preparing for the civic elections. The State Election Commission has decided to conduct civic and panchayat elections through ballot paper. This decision has been welcomed by the main opposition party Congress. Former Deputy CM of Chhattisgarh and veteran Congress leader TS Singhdev has termed the decision to conduct elections through ballot paper as correct.

Body elections through ballot paper welcomed: TS Singhdev, while talking to reporters in Durg Bhilai, said that the decision taken by the government to conduct civic and panchayat elections through ballot is welcome. Our government also conducted civic and panchayat elections in the state through ballot. Congress has been preparing for the civic elections for the last 7-8 months. After the process of reservation for the post of Mayor and Chairman is completed, the preparations of Congress will gain more momentum.
