Girl commits suicide live on Insta, hangs herself in love affair; dies in agony

Janjgir-Champa(Team Newsbuddy): A live video of a girl’s suicide has surfaced in Janjgir-Champa district of Chhattisgarh. Before committing suicide, the girl came live on Instagram and hanged herself from the fan. The case is of Misda village of Navagarh police station area. A 19-year-old girl Ankur Nath hanged herself in a room of the house. At present, the police have seized the mobile and are investigating the matter. At the same time, the family has suspected suicide due to love affair. Navagarh police station in-charge Bhaskar Sharma said that the girl committed suicide by hanging herself in the room of the house on December 29. Before committing suicide, she had done a live video on her social media site Instagram ID. The deceased’s parents work as daily wage labourers in Hyderabad. She lived here with one of her sisters.

The live video was seen by other users and villagers, after which the family members were informed, by then she had hanged herself. The family took the girl down and took her to CHC Hospital Navagarh, where the doctor declared her dead after examination. On receiving the information of the incident at the police station, on December 30, the body kept in the hospital mortuary was taken into custody and Panchnama proceedings were done. After this, the postmortem of the body was done.

The body has been handed over for last rites. The mobile phone of the deceased girl has been seized and sent for investigation. The statement of the family members was taken, in which prima facie a case of love affair has come to the fore. Due to which the possibility of suicide is being suspected. At the same time, the police is engaged in investigation on every aspect. At present, the CDR of the mobile is being taken out, on the basis of which further action will be taken.
