Dy. CM Sao reaches Sargaon Steel Factory accident site, takes stock of rescue work

Mungeli (Team Newsbuddy): Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao took stock of the rescue work of the unfortunate accident that took place at the steel factory located near Sargaon in Mungeli district on Friday night. He took information about the rescue work from the officials. In the presence of Sao, the silo was lifted through a big crane. The workers were buried in it.

After taking stock of the accident site, the Deputy Chief Minister told the journalists that the rescue work continued for more than 36 hours with the help of the district administration and the entire team of the nearby districts. The silo was very heavy, lifting it was a big task. After every effort, the rescue team lifted the silo. Now the rest of the rescue operation can be done easily. Those who lost their loved ones will get all possible support from the government and the plant management.

Sao said that the state government stands with the bereaved family. The administration is in touch with them, will provide all possible help. If someone’s family is lost, it is difficult to bring them back. Whatever possible help is available to the family will be provided.

On the question of action on negligence, Deputy Chief Minister Sao said that investigation is going on under the Company Act. The administration has also registered an FIR. Whoever is found guilty in the case will be taken to task.
