Natasha, Shruthi in finals of National Billiards- Snooker Competition

Indore (Team Newsbuddy). The final match of the Sub Junior Girls category of the National Billiards and Snooker Competition organized under the aegis of Madhya Pradesh Billiards and Snooker Association will be played between Natasha Chaitanya of Karnataka and L. Shruthi of Tamil Nadu. In the semi-final match of this national competition being played at Indore Tennis Club, Natasha Chaitanya of Karnataka defeated Gianna Rego of Maharashtra 2-1 in a thrilling match. In this match held under the Best of Three format, both the players played well and equalized by winning one frame each in the first two frames. In the decisive love, Natasha showed her best game and won and reached the final. The second semi-final match was between L. Shruthi of Tamil Nadu and Jiya Sehgal of Punjab. Shruthi maintained her dominance from the beginning and won the match 2-0. Earlier in the quarter final match Natasha defeated Usha Jyoti of Andhra Pradesh 2-1, L Shruthi defeated Kritika Dubey of Madhya Pradesh 2-0,

Jiyana of Maharashtra defeated Advika S of Tamil Nadu 2-0, while Jiya Sehgal of Punjab defeated Padmakshi of Tamil Nadu 2-0. The matches of the Senior Women’s Snooker competition being played at the Billiards Academy at Nehru Stadium started today.

In the match played on the first day, Soumya Thakur of Madhya Pradesh defeated Chitrakala of Tamil Nadu 2-0. In the second match, Afifa T of Tamil Nadu defeated Vedika Tomar of Madhya Pradesh 2-0 and entered the next round.
