The years of hard work of Association of Industries Madhya Pradesh and Indore International Toy Cluster Association is now paying off. AIMP and Toy Industry Association, in collaboration with the state government, have given a concrete shape to the plan of the state’s first toy cluster. The foundation of the first toy industry was laid today in this toy cluster. Young entrepreneur Tanmay Chaudhary is going to start a toy industry by the name of Playout at a cost of about Rs 2 crore. 40 people will be employed in the first phase of the toy manufacturing company. AIMP President Yogesh Mehta said that factories manufacturing plastic, leather, soft wood and caddy toys, i.e. micro, small and medium industries are operating in many parts of Indore city. Plastic, caddy toys and other toys have been exported from here to Gulf countries as well as Africa for the past many years. Toys made in Indore have a good demand abroad. Indore has made its special identity for leather toys in international markets including other metros of the country.
There was a demand for making a toy cluster in Indore for many years due to the ever increasing demand and business of toys in the country and abroad, so Madhya Pradesh Industry Association made continuous efforts. And today the hard work seems to be paying off.
