Khariwal elected President, Shastri as Prime Minister of Abhinav Kala Samaj

The tradition of election by consensus continues in 75-year-old institution

Indore (Team Newsbuddy) : In the tri-annual election of Abhinav Kala Samaj, a leading institution in the field of music, art and culture, Praveen Khariwal was again elected President and Satyakam Shastri was elected Prime Minister.

Chief Election Officer Alok Bajpai and Joint Election Officer Pankaj Kshirsagar said that in the unanimous election, Dr. Poorvi Nimgaonkar and Pt. Sunil Masurkar were elected Vice Presidents, Rohit Agnihotri and Alok Bajpai were elected Joint Prime Ministers, Kamal Kasturi was elected Treasurer, Narendra Bhale was elected Publicity Minister, Santosh Agnihotri was elected the convener of the Artist Selection Committee. Dilip Mungi, Balkrishna Sanecha, Satish Phalke, Rajesh Pandya, Nitesh Upadhyay, Gordhan Limbodia, Sonali Yadav, Jyotsna Sohni and Priyanka Tiwari got place in the executive. Pushkar Soni, Arjun Nayak, Bansilal Lalwani and Pramod Jain were included among the special invited members.

In the general assembly, Chairman Praveen Khariwal presented the report of the last three years of tenure and development work. Joint Prime Minister Satyakam Shastri, referring to the tradition of the last 75 years, proposed that the election be conducted by consensus, which was accepted by the House unanimously. In the end, Treasurer Kamal Kasturi expressed his gratitude.
