MP shivers as icy winds hit state

Bhopal (Team Newsbuddy): Madhya Pradesh has once again shivered from icy winds. 18 cities of the state including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, Gwalior-Jabalpur experienced cold-day like conditions. The day temperature here was less than 23 degrees Celsius. On Saturday, there is a cold-day alert in 7 districts including Bhopal, Sagar. Half of the state experienced moderate to dense fog in the morning.

Northern winds are blowing in the state. This has increased the chill and the temperature has dropped. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of severe cold will increase even more now as the speed of icy winds will increase. Fog will prevail in the state for the next 3 days.

The jet stream wind continued to blow at a speed of 287 km per hour. The wind and western disturbance have increased the effect of cold. The Meteorological Department has also expressed the possibility of severe cold throughout the month of January.
