New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy): Responding to the questions of journalists in a press conference at the headquarters of the All India Congress Committee, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that ED started proceedings in 2021-22, Kawasi Lakhma was arrested after three years. Kawasi Lakhma had exposed the corruption of Vishnu Dev government in the assembly, so action was taken against him in the spirit of revenge. Kawasi Lakhma had asked a question in the assembly on the corruption of the PWD department. It was a starred question, its written answer also came, the minister himself admitted that when the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections was imposed in the state, the bridge was constructed without the approval of the department and without tender. The tender opened on the day Kawasi had raised the question. The bridge was being built during the code of conduct without tender and without approval. Kawasi Lakhma raised this matter prominently. Instead of taking action against the government, guilty officers and contractors, within eight days ED raided the houses of Kawasi Lakhma and his family members. In the raid, not even a single rupee was found with Kawasi Lakhma and no documents were found and after that he was arrested. He was arrested for this reason.

Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that he exposed the corruption of the BJP government and the Vishnudev Sushasan government and the matter did not stop here, a few days ago journalist Mukesh Chandrakar exposed the road case. The approval for the road was Rs 50 crore and the cost increased to Rs 142 crore. The road was not built and 90 percent payment was made. Then the journalist was murdered. This means that if corruption is exposed, ED will arrest or he will be killed, this is the situation.
