Gariaband Naxal Operation: Naxalite Guddu carrying reward of Rs 25 lakh, wife Anju killed

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): New information has come to light regarding the major anti-Naxal operation in Gariaband district. The identification of the killed Naxalite has been completed. In which it has been learned that Naxalite Guddu, carrying a reward of Rs 25 lakh, and his wife Anju have also been killed in the encounter.
Guddu alias Baldev was a State Committee Member (SCM) and Anju was a District Committee Member (DCM). At the same time, IG Amresh Mishra will go to Mainpur today to meet the soldiers who returned from the encounter.
The encounter between security forces and Naxalites in Bhalu Diggi forest of Kulhadi Ghat has ended since Monday. The soldiers reached the district headquarters on Tuesday night with the bodies of 14 Naxalites killed in this encounter. After which the bodies of two more uniformed Naxalites, a male and a female, were recovered, who have been identified today. Security forces have recovered an AK-47, a country-made rifle and a large amount of Naxalite material from the spot. The soldiers have killed a total of 16 Naxalites.
During the encounter, the soldiers killed Naxalite Central Committee member Jairam alias Chalpati, who had a reward of Rs 1 crore on his head. Apart from this, Central Committee member Manoj and Special Zonal Committee member Guddu have also been killed. Manoj had a reward of Rs 1 crore on his head, while Guddu had a reward of Rs 25 lakh. Manoj was also the Odisha state chief.
