‘Aarohan 24’ fest at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University
2 min readRaipur(TEAM NEWS BUDDY).. Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University is moving forward in fulfilling the vision in the field of education. The university is going to start a seven-day state level sports and cultural festival “Aarohan-2024” from January 29, which will conclude on February 4, 2024. All students of minimum 15 years of age of university, college and school can participate in this festival. The Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Cabinet Minister of Chhattisgarh Government will also participate in this festival. Famous young Bollywood singer Pavani Pandey will entertain with her songs in the live concert.
Cabinet Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal, the chief guest of the inauguration ceremony on January 29, will inaugurate Aarohan-2024 by lighting the torch. According to the scheduled event, from January 29, Kabaddi, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Kho-Kho, Archery, Carrom, Chess, Yoga, Long and High Jump, Short and Middle and Long Distance Race, Relay and Hurdle. Players and students from other states will also participate in race and javelin throw games.
In the musical event, singing and playing competition, solo and group dance competition, solo and group play (drama) competition, Rangoli, painting and collage competition under fine art will be organised. An impromptu speech competition has also been organized for the students. Apart from this, an in-house cultural evening program will also be organized by the students of the university every day from 3 to 4 pm.
Along with this, Cabinet Minister Tankram Verma, Cabinet Minister Lakshmi Rajwade, Cabinet Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao will give their dignified presence in the program on different days of the program. In the closing ceremony on 4th February, Chief Guest Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will honor all the winners and participants. In the end, famous Bollywood singer Pavani Pandey will perform.
More than 1000 medals (Gold, Silver, Bronze) and cash prizes up to Rs 3 lakh will be given in the competitions. Registration is free for the participants, as well as accommodation and food facilities are also free.
So far, more than 1700 participants from more than 150 different institutions have shown interest in the state level sports and cultural festival “Aarohan-2024” organized by Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University. It is noteworthy that the inhouse strength of Rawatpura Group is 8000 and after the upcoming invited competitors this number is estimated at 15,000. Meanwhile by scanning the QR code, high school, college and university students can register for free.
The program will also be telecast live through the Facebook and YouTube channels of Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University. This entire competition is only for students, non-students and club members will be completely banned in it. To address the press conference, Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. SK Singh, University Registrar Dr. Saurabh Kumar Sharma and Chief Public Relations Officer Rajesh Tiwari and members of the organizing committee were present.
