MoU between NIT Raipur ,IGKV for engineering-agriculture collaboration

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy): In a significant move to strengthen ties between engineering and agriculture, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur and Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya (IGKV) Raipur signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at IGKV Raipur. This partnership is aimed at driving innovation and solving real-world challenges by combining expertise from both fields.

The MoU ceremony was attended by key representatives from both institutions. From NIT Raipur, Director Prof. N.V. Ramana Rao, Dean of Research and Consultancy Dr. G.C. Mishra, and Dr. Srinivasu G.S., Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering, participated. Representing IGKV were Vice-Chancellor Dr. Girish Chandel, Dr. V.K. Pandey, Dean of SVCAET, and Dr. A.K. Dave, Dean of the College of Food Technology, along with other deans, senior faculty members, and department heads.

This collaboration aims to promote joint research in areas such as sustainable farming technologies, agricultural machinery design, and resource-efficient practices. Both institutions will also work together on faculty exchanges, student internships, and other collaborative projects.

The partnership is expected to benefit students, researchers, and the community at large by developing advanced solutions to pressing agricultural challenges. It marks a milestone in interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together two premier institutions for the betterment of society.
