29 Naxalites surrender in Narayanpur

Narayanpur (Team Newsbuddy). Security forces have got historic success during the ‘Maad Bachao Abhiyan’ in Narayanpur district. Kutul Lal, the alleged capital of the Naxalites, is getting free from terror. Here 29 Naxalites including the medicine branch president have surrendered.
The surrendered Maoists include 22 male and 7 female Maoists who actively worked for the Maoists in the area. In this way, the continuous surrender has given a big blow to the Naxalites. Naxalites are surrendering due to disillusionment with the ideas of the organization, disappointment and increasing internal differences within the organization. All the Maoists said that they want to live a normal life by joining the mainstream of the society.
Naxalites are getting affected by the ongoing development work
SP Prabhat Kumar said that the development work being carried out in Maad and Narayanpur districts was the main reason behind the surrender by the Maoists. The rapidly constructed roads and various facilities reaching the villages have influenced them. Disillusionment with the ideas of the organization, disappointment, growing internal differences within the organization are a major reason for their surrender.
New hope from the rehabilitation policy of Chhattisgarh government
The rehabilitation policy of the Chhattisgarh government has given them new hope. They can get out of exploitation and cruel behavior within the organization and return to the mainstream of society and live a normal life. The security forces continuously setting up camps in the interior areas, aggressive operations being carried out in the area and the fear of being killed have also inspired them to leave the organization. The surrendered Maoists have been actively working under the Kutul Area Committee area.
Facilities will be given under the Naxal Eradication Policy
He told that, since 2024, as a result of the surrender of more than 71 big and small cadre Maoists, killing of more than 60 Maoists and arrest of 50 Maoists, the Maoist organization is getting weak. On surrender, all the Maoists were given an incentive amount of Rs. 25,000 in the form of a cheque and they will be provided all the facilities available under the Naxal eradication policy.
