Arvind Kejriwal loses from New Delhi seat

New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy). Results of 70 assembly seats of Delhi are still coming in. Election result of New Delhi assembly seat has come. Arvind Kejriwal of Aam Aadmi Party has lost. Parvesh Verma of BJP has registered a big win. Sandeep Dixit of Congress has also lost. Arvind Kejriwal came to power in Delhi by defeating late former Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, who represented this seat for three consecutive times, in 2013 assembly elections. He represented this assembly for three consecutive times. At present, this seat is with Kejriwal.

60 % voting took place in Delhi

Out of total 1.56 crore voters in 70 seats of Delhi, 60.54 percent voted. Giving information, officials associated with the office of Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi said that 5 thousand employees have been deployed. These include counting supervisors, counting assistants, micro observers, statistical employees and other supporting staff etc. Apart from this, the slips of five VVPAT machines in each assembly constituency will be counted randomly. So that any kind of irregularities can be assessed.
