PM Modi holds meeting of WAVES Summit Advisory Board members

New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy ). Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the WAVES Summit Advisory Board members here. In this, he interacted with global and Indian leaders. According to the information received, PM Modi interacted with top professionals and industry leaders from India and around the world through video conferencing. All these people are part of the advisory board of the WAVES Summit.
The high-profile meeting was attended by tech giants, business tycoons, film industry icons and creative visionaries. These included Sundar Pichai, Satya Nadella, Mukesh Ambani, Anand Mahindra, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Rajinikanth, Aamir Khan, AR Rahman, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone.
Why was the meeting held?
The meeting focused on innovation, global leadership, India’s cultural and technological influence, and strategies to enhance India’s position on the world stage. The WAVES Summit, known for bringing together thought leaders from various sectors, aims to foster cross-industry collaboration and advance India’s growth in the digital and creative economy.
WAVES 2025 is being organised by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to celebrate and enhance India’s creative and media economy. As part of the WAVES Summit, to be held from February 5-9, 2025, the ministry is also launching the Create in India Challenge, Season 1, which will include a series of challenges aimed at promoting innovation and creativity. The summit has brought together industry leaders, stakeholders, and innovators. The summit was earlier scheduled to be held in
November in Goa alongside the International Film Festival of India (IFFI).
