Manipur CM N Biren Singh resigns

New Delhi (Team Newsbuddy) : Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has resigned from his post, he has submitted his resignation to the Governor. Let us tell you that the session of the Manipur Legislative Assembly was to start from tomorrow, 10 February 2025. The opposition was preparing to bring a no-confidence motion against the Manipur government. The Congress said that N Biren Singh should have been sacked two years ago. Congress leader Alok Sharma said, “The country will never forgive him. The conscience of the MLAs in Manipur has awakened. They have resigned under compulsion.”

N Biren Singh met Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi , after which he resigned in the evening. It is being told that in a short while there will be a meeting of the legislature party, in which a new leader will be elected after talking to the party high command. At the end of last year, Chief Minister Biren Singh had apologized to the public for the violence in Manipur.
