Jharkhand bans gutkha , pan masala, warehouses sealed

Jharkhand (Team Newsbuddy) : The sale, storage and consumption of gutkha and pan masala has been banned in the state. The Jharkhand government has issued orders to take action against those who eat and sell pan, masala. Announcing this historic decision, Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari said that this tough step has been taken to make the dream of Jharkhand come true. This ban is not just a rule, but a revolutionary initiative to save the youth of Jharkhand from the clutches of addiction.
Dr. Ansari said that special attention will be paid to gutkha mafia and illegal traders. If gutkha is found with any shop, warehouse or person, not only strict legal action will be taken but warehouses will also be sealed. Strict instructions have been given to the health department and administration to strictly follow this order.
The Health Minister said that this decision will set an example for the entire state. Dr Ansari appealed to the officials and the general public to take this decision as a challenge and cooperate in making Jharkhand gutkha free. He said, “We want to set a trend which other states also follow and this campaign should run throughout the country.”
