NIA arrests CPI leader in terror funding case

Raipur (Team Newsbuddy). The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken major action in the Chhattisgarh terror funding case. The top leader of a frontal organization associated with the banned CPI (Maoist) terrorist organization has been arrested. Raghu Midiyami, leader of the Mulvasi Bachao Manch (MBM), has been accused of raising funds for the terrorist organization. Due to which the anti-India agenda can be taken forward.
The NIA on Thursday detained Raghu Midiyami in RC-02/2023/NIA/RPR case. MBM has been banned by the Chhattisgarh government. The police had earlier arrested two accused in the case in November 2023 and filed a charge sheet. Which was taken over by the NIA in February 2024. After which the police recovered Rs 6 lakh in cash from both the accused. Who were identified as members/OGWs (over ground workers) of MBM.
Accused of raising funds for Naxalites
NIA conducted a thorough investigation of the case. In which it was found that Raghu Midiyami is the leader of MBM. This organization is engaged in raising funds for CPI (Maoist). So that the anti-India agenda can be furthered. According to the NIA investigation, Raghu Midiyami was the nodal person for the distribution of funds locally for the protests led by CPI (Maoist). Further investigation is going on in the case.
