Nitish government increased security of six leaders before Bihar assembly polls

Patna (Team Newsbuddy): Nitish government increased the security of six leaders before Bihar assembly elections. The leaders whose security has been increased include Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Tejashwi Yadav. The decision to increase the security of these leaders has been taken by the Bihar government in the meeting of the State Security Committee. The leaders whose security has been increased include Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, Independent MP from Purnia Pappu Yadav, Araria MP Pradeep Kumar Singh, Barh MLA Gyanendra Singh Gyanu and JDU MLC Neeraj Kumar.

An order has been issued by the Home Department regarding this. This decision has been taken in the meeting of the State Security Committee held on August 1 on the basis of the recommendation of the state government. Samrat Chaudhary will now be under Z Plus security cover. The Bihar government has provided him Z Plus security along with ASL security.

Questions were being raised for some time regarding the security of Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav in the Assembly. Now his security has also been increased. The government has decided to increase his security and give him Z category security. Purnia MP Pappu Yadav was also demanding increased security for a long time. Pappu Yadav was demanding increased security from the central and state government ever since the alleged threat from Lawrence Bishnoi gang came to light. He has now been given Y plus security. Similarly, Araria MP Pradeep Kumar Singh will now be under Y plus security cover while Barh MLA Gyanendra Singh Gyanu’s security has also been increased to Y plus. The government has also increased the security of JDU’s chief spokesperson and MLC Neeraj Kumar. Neeraj Kumar will now be under Y plus security
