In an ever-changing contemporary world, AI (Artificial Intelligence) is driving and transforming nearly every sphere, from learning to living. Today’s Education shall build future leaders, who are “job creators”, not mere “job seekers”, the ones who lead the brigade, instead of being the part of a crowd. The Daly College of Business Management (DCBM) in Indore imparts a similar “legacy that fuels
future leaders”. Established in 2018, DCBM is a premier management institution
of Central India, affiliated with Devi Ahilya Vishwavidhyalaya (DAVV, NAAC A+),
and is a part of the Daly College Educational Group, which has built and nurtured
young minds into tomorrow’s changebearers for over 150 years.
DCBM is offering “Transformative Management Programs” for the 3-year
Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) course with given specialisations in
Strategic Finance and Strategic Marketing. BBA in Strategic Finance is in
collaboration with the Institute of Management Accounts (IMA), USA and the BBA
Strategic Marketing certification is provided by AMA (American Marketing
Association).
In conversation with Dr. Sonal Sisodiya, Principal, DCBM on what sets the
institution apart and why is it the ultimate choice for future managers and
entrepreneurs:

  • Learning that goes beyond classroom, in the practical world: Real world functions beyond the four walls of a classroom. With leadership programs
and live projects, the students are introduced to real-world business
challenges that stir thought, ideas and creation. Dr Sisodiya says, “Activity based learning ensures involvement of an individual. When they find
themselves a part of the process, they garner confidence to stand out.
That’s when innovation steps in, adding to their performance.”
  • Holistic branding that builds “employers”: An individual is exposed to
international certification, in-demand skills, internships and placements, management conclaves, frequesnt guest sessions, industrial visits, guidance
from the best of faculties, along with mentorship from industry greats; which provides a holistic personal as well as professional branding. Organizing events such as “Aagney – The Management Mania” and international conferences annually only ignite the spirit of management excellence within the youth. Moreover, global internships unfold the path towards immersive learning. Be it at Google’s APAC headquarters, Singapore, or the 10-day Europe Immersion Programs, students learn
adaptability, and become globally aware with confidence and connection.
Dr Sisodiya asserts, “Our aim is to instill confidence and communication
with a strong professional image attached. It has to be someone who isn’t
limited to learning alone, but is a blend of personal, social, and intellectual
    persona.”
  • Upskill, innovate, and lead: One must be upgraded with his skills, innovative in his thinking, and setforth to lead. DCBM initiates opportunities for the students enabled with in-demand requirements, fostering innovation and leadership. According to Dr Sisodiya, these three
together can give the student a breakthrough in his career. She stresses
upon the youth’s role in making India a developed nation (Viksit Bharat) by
  1. DCBM’s Institute Innovation Cell promises to be a transformative step that
promotes entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking in management students. They find a platform where they can share their ideas, collaborate, and build their startups. While, the Internationalisation Consortium, where Dr. Sonal Sisodiya serves as the Secretary (2025) adds to
the glory paving the way for academic collaborations globally. It promotes
sharing of knowledge, research alliances, and student-faculty exchange
programs. DCBM’s MOUs (Memorandum of Understanding) established with other
prestigious institutions and organisations, including the Centre for
Entrepreneurship Development Madhya Pradesh (CEDMAP) under
Department of MSME, Government of Madhya Pradesh foster wider
    opportunities for growth.
  • Unique experiential learning: The institution functions with the unique
concept of learning through experience. Firstly, DCBM offers a choice-based curriculum under the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020, through which the students can carve their own niche. Secondly, they adhere to a
simulation-based experiential learning. The real-time business simulations
test their managerial capability, proving their mettle for the worldy
    challenges.
  • IKS Corner – A blend of ancient knowledge with modern education:
DCBM’s IKS (Indian Knowledge System) Corner is a one of a kind, visionary
intitiative that integrates contemporary learning with ancient wisdom.
Aligning with the NEP 2020, the IKS Corner is rooted in Gyan (knowledge),
Vigyan (science), and Jeevan Shastra (Philosophy of Life).
Dr Sisodiya explains, “It’s a curated setup. You can say the commitment of
our institution to value-based education. You see, today’s education system
must impart the rich intellectual and cultural heritage of India. From
Chanakya’s Arthashastra to the timeless wisdom of Indian philosophy, IKS is
    one such academic experience.”
  • Community engagement: It is the society to which one holds accountability
and responsibility to. A socially-conscious manager will hold his responsibility upright and use the discipline in a righteous manner. Dr Sisodiya states, “We, at DCBM, ensure that a student develops social responsibility along with his leadership and management skills. So, that channelises his business energy towards the betterment of the society.”
  • DCBM’s appeal for involvement of parents: Unlike other educational
institutions after school, DCBM ensures parental involvement. It focuses on
strengthening the connection between the institution and students’
families. DCBM stays committed to transparent communication and
collaborative engagement between the parents and faculties that lead to
    the students’ growth.
Dr Sisodiya concludes, “We organise Parents-Professor Meet where there is
a one-on-one interaction of the parent with the faculty members. They can
have in-depth discussions regarding the student’s academics, overall
performance, and the future too. This builds an understanding between
both, and they are able to contribute in the best interest of the student.” DCBM shall be the standalone educational institution if you are considering a business school for managem
ent education in Central India. Enroll in DCBM’s Transformative Management Programs, “Where Legacy fuels future leaders.”
