NIT to host 19th Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Congress (CYSC)

Raipur(TEAM NEWS BUDDY).The 19th Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Congress (CYSC) 2024 is jointly organized by National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur and Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology (CCOST) from 26th and 27th February 2024. The event will be graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, and Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Sharma, Government of Chhattisgarh. The CYSC2024 invites research papers/ abstracts from the researchers affiliated with various Institutions/ universities/ research labs and other organizations located in Chhattisgarh state. The age of participants should be 35 years or below on 28 February 2024. In Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Congress 2024, research papers are being invited from 20 disciplines of science, technology and engineering including Basic sciences, Life sciences, Agricultural Science, All engineering & technology etc.

Every submitted abstract/paper in CYSC will be reviewed by experts and if selected, authors will be invited to present their research work in front of an expert panel during the congress. Based on the recommendations of the expert panel Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Awardees will be selected from each discipline. Each awardee of Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Award will get certificate and cash prize worth Rs. 21000(Twenty-One Thousand only) and may also be eligible for other attractive opportunities like visiting national laboratories to take their research to new levels in the future.
The last date for abstract/paper submission is extended to 14th February 2024.
Every year Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Congress is organized by Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology (CCOST), Raipur in collaboration with different universities/institutions of Chhattisgarh state to mark the discovery of “Raman effect” by Indian physicist Chandrashekhar Venkata Raman. The main objective of Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Congress is to offer a platform for the budding scientists/researchers of the state to showcase their contribution to the scientific community. Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Congress also encourages young researchers to share their innovative ideas and research findings with experts and engage in meaningful discussions, network with fellow researchers.

The19th Chhattisgarh Young Scientist Congress (CYSC) 2024 is going to be organized under the patronage and guidance of Prof. NV Ramana Rao, Director NIT Raipur and SS Bajaj, DG, CCOST.
The conveners of this event are Dr Dilip Singh Sisodia and Dr Rakesh Tripathi, from NIT Raipur, and Dr J K. Rai, from CCOST.
