State Congress Communication Department Chairman Sushil Anand Shukla said that due to the patronage of the BJP government, sand is being sold at three times the price which was being sold in trucks for Rs 8 to 9 thousand two months ago. After the coming of BJP government, it is being sold for Rs 24 to 25 thousand. Mafia war is going on across the state to grab the sand mines of BJP. Due to the protection of the government, the people of the state are having to bear the brunt of this monkey business.
State Congress Communication Department Chairman Sushil Anand Shukla said that the previous Congress government had made a solid policy and made a transparent system in all the 450 sand mines of the state under the supervision of Mineral Development Corporation. During the time of the previous Congress government, the loading charge in sand mines was a maximum of Rs 450, which is now being charged up to Rs 2000, 3000 and 5000 due to corruption and commission embezzlement, on which perhaps the government has no control or has undisclosed protection.
State Congress Communication Department President Sushil Anand Shukla said that illegal mining business is flourishing in the entire state under the patronage of Bharatiya Janata Party leaders. The mining mafia has become so careless under the Bharatiya Janata Party government that they are openly beating up mining officials and employees. After the beating of many employees including the Mineral Inspector in Gariaband about 2 weeks ago, now 16 officers and employees of the Mineral Department were beaten up by the people of the illegal mining mafia in Hardidih Sand Ghat of Samoda near Arang in Raipur district. It is alleged that after that the sealed machine was opened by the employees of the Mineral Department and the proceedings sheet was also torn. In the name of action, the administration is engaged in whitewashing. Neither machines nor vehicles were confiscated.
