Upasana Seva Foundation celebrates World Pulse Day

Raipur(TEAM NEWS BUDDY)On the occasion of World Pulse Day the members of Upasana Seva Foundation organized awareness drive among the farmers in village Khadarraha (Bagbahra) 100 km away from Raipur. The members encouraged the farmers to growth pulses in their field.
According to Ratikant Sahu, President, Upasana Seva Foundation, several farmers cultivating pulses in their fields were called for meeting, in which they were encouraged to grow pulses. Meanwhile, chief guest at the event, local farmer Hagru Ram Sabar informed the gathering that pulses cultivation has great potential in the region and called on the farmers to promote it’s cultivation. He also informed the farmers about government various schemes to promote cultivation of pulses and live stock caring. Present during the event were Arun Nimbalkar, Prakash Chandra, Santa Kure, Pawan Shukla, Ankita Bhoi, Purnima Sahu, Devlal, Jharna Dewangan and Monica Dewangan.
