“Let’s Collab Chhattisgarh” gets good response

Raipur.In a bid to harness the power of social media for good governance, the Chhattisgarh Government’s Public Relations Department hosted the ‘Let’s Collab Chhattisgarh’ Creators Meet-Up on February 24 at Chhattisgarh SAMVAD Bhawan in Nava Raipur. Commissioner, Public Relations, Mayank Srivastava, and IAS Dr. Ayyaz Fakirbhai Tamboli inaugurated the event. More than 270 influential social media content creators participated in the event. The Public Relations Department honoured the outstanding content creators in various categories for their contributions.
Addressing the programme, Public Relations Officer Mayank Srivastava stated, “The objective of this meetup is to build a bridge, especially among creative individuals. We have organised the creator meet-up because you people also have ideas and solutions. You also understand how to connect with people in areas where the government typically struggles to reach, as well as how swiftly we can reach them. In the meet-up, the importance of social media in establishing good governance, the expectations of the youth from the new government, and opinions on the promotion of state government schemes through social media were discussed. In the program, IAS Dr. Ayyaz Fakirbhai Tamboli discussed the role of social media.
In the programme, IPS Ankita Sharma shared that everyone should be cautious against fake websites and profiles. She urged people not to panic if faced with fraud, blackmail, or any other issue and to contact the police immediately. She advised victims of fraud to promptly report their problems to the toll-free number operated by the Indian government. She advised people to keep mobile phones and apps locked to prevent theft of personal information, images, or data. IPS Santosh Singh and ASP Pitambar Patel also spoke at the event. A panel discussion was held during the programme, attended primarily by Adarsh Mishra, Heen Sheikh, Kriti Sharma, Minendra Chandrakar, and Ravindra Singh.
