As soon as the photo related to this case went viral, there was a stir in the health department, a three-member team was also formed to investigate the case, apart from this, the CHMO says that the photo was wrongly edited by mischievous elements. This has been made viral, which is completely fake, apart from this, after the investigation report of the case comes, a case will also be registered against anti-social elements in the police station, but till the report of the case comes, polio will be eradicated in the interior areas of Bastar district. The health department is playing an important role in eradicating this type of disease.

It is being told that the National Intensive Pulse Polio Campaign has started across the state from March 3. On the first day, on March 3, children aged 0 to 5 years were given polio dose at the polio booth, while on March 4 and 5, team members were given polio vaccine. Polio will be administered to the left out children by going door to door. In this campaign, a case of negligence has come to light in Elmaguda of Sukma district, where the health department workers as well as Anganwadi workers on duty gave water to the children instead of polio medicine and the photo also went viral.

Regarding this matter, CHMO Dr. Mahesh Sandiya said that 35 children were identified in Elmaguda village, but even after this, 40 children were given medicine under the Pulse Polio campaign, this campaign was over by around 1 o’clock, But this photo of children being given water instead of polio medicine after 3 o’clock has gone viral, which is completely fake, investigation is being done and a case will also be registered in the police station against anti-social elements.

Formation of three-member team
In this case, the CHMO says that a team of BMO, Sector Doctor, Sector Supervisor has been sent for investigation on Monday morning, where after the team submits the report related to the case till evening, whatever report comes. There will be investigation on that.

Employees associated with the health department say that the morale of the workers is being broken by making fake photos of the workers viral in this way, whereas the health department is working to a great extent in the interior areas.
